Subject to change at all times. Autographs and photos with the stars must be purchased. A reasonable selection of photos of all guests are available for signing on site for a fee. Price adjustments are always reserved. All tickets are expressly non-returnable once the event takes place. The visitor is expressly advised that there is no statutory right of cancellation for all tickets in accordance with Section 312 g Paragraph 2 No. 9 BGB. All guests have the freedom to cancel their appearance at any time due to film/job offers, illness, low ticket sales or for personal reasons, even at short notice. If a guest cancels, autograph / photo shoot / meet & greet / Diamond Pass tickets will of course be automatically refunded to the account with which they were purchased. There is no entitlement to a refund for entry tickets including VIP or upgrade tickets.

Attention: There is a maximum of one (1) free autograph per person, regardless of the number of tickets available. No payout, no compensation in case of loss. This is a voluntary service provided by the organizer. If individual visitors are unable to take advantage of the free autograph opportunity on site (for whatever reason), there is no entitlement to compensation. The free autograph is only available at the event and must be collected in person. Shipping is not possible.
Please note: There is a separate queue for these tickets. The Fast Lane & VIP Lane as well as regularly purchased autographs and selfies always have priority.

What would a convention be without cosplay? We look forward to seeing you and your costumes!

AUTOGRAPHS AND SELFIES

Unless otherwise announced, all star guests will be available at their table for autograph signing and selfies (ticket required) on all event days, except while they are in the photo shoot, on stage or on their lunch break.

The autograph and selfie tickets can be purchased in advance online in our shop or on site at our information stand.

Usually there are no fixed autograph times. If there are fixed times for some guests, these are shown accordingly.

All guests have a large selection of photo motifs to sign (for a fee), but of course you can also get signed your own items you bring with you.

YOUR DIGITAL PHOTO

Would you like to receive also a digital copy of your photo ops next to the print out version? No problem. A few days after the event you can order your digital images HERE

PHOTO OPS WITH THE STAR GUESTS

Photo Ops gives you the opportunity to pose with your favorite stars and take a professional photo together with them. You will receive your photo printed out on high-quality photo paper just a few seconds after the shoot.
If you wish, you can even get an autograph from your favorite star on your photo afterwards. Such a memory couldn't be more perfect.
A separate ticket is required for the photo shoot and the autograph. The autograph must be obtained at the guest's signing table. Tickets can be purchased on site at our sales counter or online in advance in our shop.

VOICE ACTOR AREA

Have you ever wondered which face belongs to the German voice of Sheldon Cooper or Daryl Dixon in real life? With us you regularly have the chance to meet great voice actors in person, have a voice message recorded for your mailbox or simply get an autograph, take a photo together and have a little chat.

Look forward to great artists, illustrators and cartoonists. In our Artist Alley you find great artists and products. Great stuff for collectors can also be found.

QUESTION & ANSWER PANELS ON STAGE

In various panels and Q&As, the star guests get on the big stage during the event days and answer questions: They talk about current projects and fans have the chance to ask their very personal questions.

Attention: Not all stars are necessarily on stage on all days of the event!

MEET & GREETS

Depending on the star guest, we offer different types of Meet & Greets: “Meet & Greet” and “1:1 Meet & Greet”.

At a normal meet & greet, you meet your star privately in a small, intimate group. The meeting takes place in a separate room and lasts approx. 20-25 minutes, depending on the size of the group. There are a maximum of 25 participants per group. Usually there are a maximum of 10 per meet & greet, often even less.

A "1:1 Meet & Greet" lasts 3 minutes per ticket. Here you can meet your star privately in a separate area, just you and your star - without any other fans!

After the conversation, you will also receive a selfie with your star.

WEAPON RULES

All imitation weapons are subject to a weapons check before entering the exhibition grounds. In order to make your visit an unforgettable experience for all visitors, some instructions regarding carrying imitation weapons at the convention must be adhered to. If weapons fail the weapons check, we will keep them for you at the entrance and return them when you leave the convention. Find out more HERE.

ENTERTAINMENT & PROPS

Get ready for cool props and backdrop replicas, film cars and fan groups that present special attractions at their booths. Of course, you can also take lots of photos on site and ask any questions you may have.

COSPLAY CONTEST & COSPLAY WALK

We are planning a cosplay contest and a cosplay walk for you on both Saturday and Sunday on the big stage. The exact times will be announced at a later date. If you would like to take part in the walk or contest, please contact us in advance at service@weloveconventions.com. We look forward to seeing you!

PLEASE NOTE: Please be advised that bringing food or drinks into the Turbinenhalle is strictly prohibited. Any food or beverages must be left outside or in your vehicle before entering the venue. Unfortunately, this is a policy beyond our control. We appreciate your understanding.

TICKETS AND BOX OFFICE

Not quite sure which ticket or extras you need and when? Here you will find many answers to the most frequently asked questions.

What do I definitely need?

You will definitely need an admission ticket, as this is the only way you can gain access to the event. We have only one ticket category with entry from 10 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

HELP, my name is on all tickets!

Don't worry, if you order several tickets for yourself and your family or friends and your name is on all of those tickets. The tickets are transferable and are not personalized. This means everyone will get in, even if all the tickets include your name.

Are there also weekend tickets available?

Unfortunately, we do not offer weekend tickets. So if you would like to attend the event on both days, you can easily secure a day ticket for Saturday and Sunday separately.

Do children also need an admission ticket?

Great news: Children aged 0-11 have FREE ENTRY and do not need an entry ticket if accompanied by their parents or an adult guardian.

Do disabled people with badge B in their ID need an entry ticket?

Severely disabled people with badge B and accompanying persons require an entry ticket.

Do I have to print my ticket?

The ADMISSION tickets do NOT have to be printed and can also be shown on your cell phone. The only important thing is that the QR CODE is scannable.
Tickets for the stars such as AUTOGRAPH TICKETS, SELFIE TICKETS, M&G tickets or PHOTO OP TICKETS have to be printed and are not sufficient on your cell phone.

Is there also a daily box office?

Yes, there is also a daily box office. However, we always recommend buying the tickets in advance in our online shop. Tickets are always a little more expensive locally.

How can I download my tickets?

Please note that Eventbrite is unfortunately gradually ceasing to send PDF tickets via email worldwide. If you do not receive your tickets automatically by email after purchasing, please log in to your Eventbrite account or your Eventbrite app and download your tickets from your account under “MY TICKETS”.

If you continue to have problems loading your tickets, please contact Eventbrite directly.

What is a Fast Lane Ticket?

With the Fast Lane wristband you have priority access via a separate lining, the FAST LANE, to the stars' autograph tables and to the photo ops.
The FAST LANE PASS does not include autograph or photo op vouchers!
The Fast Lane Pass does not include entry to the event. This means you also need a separate admission ticket.

I would like to have a selfie / autograph / photo / meet & greet – what do I need?

If you would like to take part in a photo op or get a selfie with a star at the event, an autograph or take part in a meet & greet, you will need a separate ticket for that in addition to the admission ticket.
Each star has their own shop where you can buy your desired extras such as AUTOGRAPH TICKETS, SELFIE TICKETS, PHOTO OP TICKETS or MEET & GREET TICKETS. You can find the respective shop above under GUESTS. Simply click on the TICKETS button for your favorite star. Make sure you buy your tickets for the correct day. This means, e.g. if you attend the event only on Sunday, you will of course also need the STAR EXTRAS for Sunday.

Group shoots – Is it also possible to take a group photo with several stars?

Yes. We provide a selection of suitable duo and group shoots in a separate shop. Please note, however, that you always need the right ticket for this. This means it is not possible to attend a duo shoot with two individual tickets and redeem them.

Does each person need a ticket or can you take a photo with several people?

Yes, each person who wants to be included in the photo needs their own ticket. This means, for example, if you and a friend want to take a photo with a star, you both need a photo op ticket for the respective star. You will then take two photos in the photo box and you will receive two printouts after the shoot.

What about children and accompanying persons at photo shoots etc.?

Children and people accompanying disabled people with trademark B also need their own ticket for selfies, photo ops, autographs or meet & greets.

Do the voice actors also offer autographs, selfies, photo ops or voice messages?

Yes, they do. Tickets for voice messages, autographs and selfies from the voice actors are usually available on site at the respective tables of the guests. If tickets are also available online, each guest will have their own shop, like all other guests.

Is it possible to buy extras for the guests on site?

Yes, if the tickets for individual stars and slots are not sold out, the tickets are also available on site. As a rule, you can buy the extras at the guests' tables via cash or otherwise at our sales desk by card payment. However, we always recommend buying the tickets in advance in our online shop. Tickets are always a little more expensive locally plus you save yourself the stress of getting the tickets on site.

You can reach the venue by tram as follows:

  • From Oberhausen main station, bus stop platform 1, from here there are regular buses to the stops “Im Lipperfeld” or “Feuerwache”. From the stops it’s about a 5-minute walk to the Oberhausen Turbinen Halle!
  • From Centro Oberhausen – from here there are regular buses to the stop “Im Lipperfeld”. From the stop it’s about a 5-minute walk to the Oberhausen Turbinen Halle!

ARRIVAL VIA A3 FROM COLOGNE:

Take exit 12 towards A42.
Keep right at the fork, follow signs to Dortmund / Oberhausen / A42 and take the A42.
At exit 10-Oberhausen-Zentrum, take the B223 towards A516 / Arnheim / Oberhausen-Sterkrade.
Keep right at the fork, follow signs to Mülheim a.d. Follow Ruhr / B223 / OB-Zentrum and turn right onto B223.
Turn left onto Essener Str./B231, turn right onto Im Lipperfeld.
The target is on the right.

ARRIVAL VIA A42 FROM DORTMUND:

At exit 14-Kreuz Herne take the A42 towards Duisburg / Gelsenkirchen / Dortmund / Castrop-Rauxel.
Keep left at the fork and merge onto the A42. Take exit 11-Oberhausen-Neue Mitte in the direction of Oberhausen-Osterfeld.
On Osterfelder Str./L450 (signs for OB-Neue Mitte) continue on Essener Str./B231, turn left onto Im Lipperfeld.

The GERMAN STRANGER CON event is organized by WE LOVE CONVENTIONS GmbH. Our company is based in Germany, but our team is spread around the world.
